The Bayside-Peninsula Consortium’s primary objectives are to provide the highest quality support, training and mentoring to all basic physician trainees across its constituent hospitals whilst ensuring equity in workforce distribution.

The Directors of Physician Education and all Consortium teaching staff share a deep commitment to ensuring that trainees are supported, encouraged, guided and given optimal preparation through a first class educational program combining formal instruction, on-the-job training and professional mentorship, as preparation for the Part 1 Fellowship examination of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
